WHO AM I?
Hey there!! It’s good to “meet” you!
I’m Ashlynn! I’m a lover of all things related to travel, dogs, specialty coffee, and of course photography.
Even when not at a shoot or a wedding, I usually still have a camera near by, especially since my husband, Alec, and I LOVE traveling and there’s always something beautiful to capture! From the hiking around the National Parks to relaxing in Italy to park hopping in Disney World, we’re basically always planning our next trip.
When I don’t have a camera in my hands and we aren’t on a trip, you can find me on a coffee date with a friend, thrifting, reading a good book, or playing with our bernedoodle, Hank.
WHY PHOTOGRAPHY?
I started this photography journey officially in 2019 when I took on my first wedding and first handful of seniors. Although 2019 was the official launch of my business, I’ve been taking photos for as long as I can remember. I used to snag my moms “fancy” camera to take pictures of my friends, family, dogs, nature, etc. When college came around and I got gifted my first DSLR, I would take the girls on my floor out into town to be my models to practice posing and settings. As soon as I finished my first wedding in 2019, I knew weddings and couples were what I wanted to specialize in.
THE HUSBAND & WIFE TEAM EXPERIENCE
From that first wedding, my husband has been my second shooter and is an essential part of what I offer as a photographer. I love capturing couples in love, and getting to do that alongside my husband is so much more special! Because we understand how to work together in life, we work seamlessly on a wedding day together as well. We know what to expect from each other and can practically read each others minds when navigating wedding day chaos—leading to a much smoother feeling day for you!
